9. Community Impacts Grant Program

Purpose: Grants are available for public schools that are using the power of volunteers to improve the physical health of their community.
Funding cycle: The application for the Community Impact Grants program will be available from February 1st, 2014 through August 15th , 2014.
Amount: Grants up to $5,000 are given in the form of the Home Depot gift cards for the purchase of tools, materials, or services
Eligibility: Only proposals submitted through the online application process will be considered for funding. Projects must be completed within 6 months following notification of award, with reporting requirements due 30 days following the completion of the project.
