(Peter Hvizdak — New Haven Register) Savin Rock Community School in West Haven, Conn. holds a ribbon-cutting for its "peaceful playground" Wednesday, November 20, 2013. The playground has designs and templates painted on the school's blacktop playground for use during recess activities and games. The initiative was paid for and designs painted by the vertical Church in West Haven.
