Peaceful Playgrounds participated in the NFL United Way Community Kick Off event at Lake Grove Elementary in Federal Way, WA. Lake Grove physical education teacher applied for the United Way community Kick Off grant requesting a climbing wall and the Peaceful Playgrounds program.
About 70 United Way Volunteers combined worked with the Washington Dairy Council, NFL Play60 coordinators and retired Seattle Seahawks players to add the playground elements during a playground rehab event.
